Sharon Thinkin Out Loud Monday, August 11, 2003: The Outback Steakhouse in Stockton yesterday was absolutely great. Wonnderfulll service. I barely had to ask for a thing, they were completely on top of refills, clear aways, etc. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. Nice for a once in a while thing, since everything is kind of , well, uh... just plain fattening. I had the prime rib, w/garlic mashed potatoes and a salad. Dan got cheesy fries for an appetizer (the best). He also had some tasty soup called the Baked Potato Soup. He had the New York with Alaskan King Crab legs. Man, that guy can pack it away! They were excellent. Kids got the chicken tender kids meals. Good deal. We got our dessert for free just because the manager forgot to bring my sauce. The kids got these great strawberry smoothies for dessert. Dan got some mountain of Brownie and ice cream and chocolate. Wow. And the Cheesecake was the bomb! Huge.. I mean HUGE and covered with caramel. We were stuffed! Are you getting hungry reading this??? Sharon // 1:42 PM ______________________ We got a new hermie. She's a female, and I think I'll name her Spider. She looks like big spider running around. She's active and a bit feisty. We got her at the kiosk at West Valley. They have a pretty nice set up, not many hidey huts, though. And they are under kind of bright light, but at least that keeps them pretty warm since there is no top on the tank.
