Sharon Thinkin Out Loud Saturday, September 13, 2003: I can't believe it about the passing of John Ritter. I haven't been this saddened and shocked by the death of a celebrity since Phil Hartman. I know Hartman's murder was more violent, etc. But it's just the familiar face and voice, and their comedy. I mean, my daughter watches Clifford the Big Red Dog every morning - he is the voice of Clifford. I grew up seeing him on TV, and he was still good on 8 Simple Rules. I saw him on the TV Land awards, the ABC Anniversary Special, and he was just hilariously funny on the Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards. I really liked him. He seemed like a great guy. And FUNNY. SAD day. Johnny Cash too. And both on 9/11. I mean the day is already infamous. It was Ritter's daughter's fifth birthday :( And his birthday was next week on the 17th, and his fourth wedding anniversary would have been on the 18th. It just makes me sad. Sharon // 1:18 PM ______________________ Well, it's getting to be that time of year. My favorite season: Fall/Autumn. And this is the time of year I really get into my candles. With the days getting shorter there is more "dark" time to light them, and this time of year brings about new scents to try as well as old favorites. Right now, I'm into the apple scents. Caramel Apple, Hot Apple Pie, Mulled Cider, etc. One great candle site is OldVirginiaCandle.com. They have triple layer candles that are FANTASTIC. I love the Caramel Apple. Dan is supposed to bring the County Fair triple home for me tonight. It has Car. Apple/Cotton Candy/Funnel Cake. Little does he know I just placed an order at their site for the Autumn Harvest, Vanilla Dreams triples, a tartwarmer with fall leaves ($3 sale!), and some Caramel Apple melts. Also they have 25% off Apple Harvest triple. Another candle I just ordered which I have heard good things about, is the "For Every Body" candles. If you spend $18, you get free shipping. Hey, $18 is EASY to spend. Huh? web site is simply foreverybody.com. Anyway, I have joined a Yahoo Group called Candle Addict R Us.
